Shahrazad lives in Brooklyn and performs throughout the New York City area. She has been dancing since 1999 and has studied with Dalia Carella, Yousry Sharif, Gamila El Masri and Sandra Catena and has performed at Faluka's, Lafayette Grill, Cleopatra's, Atlantic Night Cafe, Brooklyn Children's Museum and the Sloan Kettering Hospital. She also performs frequently at private functions. Her style is Raks Sharqi (traditional belly dance) and her speciality is the sword dance. You can see her perform weekly at Les Babouches Restaurant. Shaharazad's first love is karate and kick boxing. She has a black belt in American Go Ju by Master Joseph Craig, six degree black belt. Her love for these arts are filled with passion and dedication. Discovering the art of dance has been an uplifting experience that has filled her heart with joy, laughter and love. She loves to share the beautiful energy of the dance.

Bahiya began her Oriental dance training in 1990. She studied Flamenco, Hp hop, African, Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Egyptian/tribal/fusion/oriental/cabaret Belly dance. She has traveled and performed at many Festivals and Conventions in Greece, Mexico City New York, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. She has trained with some of the top New York teachers Jehan, Ayshe, Azza Amon Anahid Sofian and beautiful Ranya. Bahiya joined and performs with prestigious New York regional dance troupes such as the Temple of Jehan and Nadia Moussa's Dance Company. With this Dance Company she has performed at Drums Along the Hudson (prestigious drum and dance festival), Dance Theatre of Harlem and the Arab American Street Fair. As a soloist Bahiya has most recently performed in New York top nightclubs such as Le Souk, Spirit Club, Lafayette Grille, L' Orange Bleu, The Cupping Room and Tagine Casa La Feme, Kasbah Rouge, Al Baraka and more. Bahiya also performs at many private functions such as weddings, birthdays, engagement parties, bridal showers and corporate events, etc. Some recent events include and engagement party at Cipriani's, the Tribeca Film Festival Wrap party and a Benefit for the Tsunami Relief Fund. Her teaching credits include Nea Hrakleio- Dance Center Athens Greece, Yoga Zynergy Loft, Temple of Jehan and Djoniba Drum and Dance in New York City. Props include wings, sword, candle tray, zills and veil. She will delight you with her warm personality. Her specialty's include her signature move vibrating candles in a back bend. Dance is her passion. She has recently been seen on New York's "Wb11 News" and "So You Think You Can Dance.

Shir-El has been dancing all of her life, and now concentrates her talent in belly dance. Talent In Motion Magazine has called her "…a belly dancer majestic". She studied with the legendary Serena Wilson while learning American belly dance. She is also trained in Turkish and Egyptian cabaret style belly dance. Shir-El has wowed audiences in and around New York City at hot spots such as Lafayette Grill, Satalla, the Door, Falucka's, Kush, Tangine, Sapphire, Ibiza Lounge, Arka Lounge, and Sirocco's. Corporate clients include Saks 5th Avenue, Henri Bendel, Talent in Motion Magazine, and Dug Clothing. Shir-El also performs at birthday parties, weddings, bachelorette parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, and other private events (NO BACHELOR PARTIES!). She is skilled at using sword, veils, zills, candles, wings and candelabra.

Evelyn von Gizycki began her dance, music and acting training at the age of 5 at The Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City. She studied ballet, flamenco, modern, African, and jazz. She performed as a prima ballerina in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty. As an adult, Evelyn continued studying ballet and flamenco, until a car accident in 1997. When she found she couldn't return to ballet and flamenco, she began her training in Oriental dance, more popularly known as "belly dance" and "Undine" was born. Undine has trained with renowned Middle Eastern dance teachers such as Morocco and Tarik, Anahid Sofian, Elena Lentini and Jehan. Undine has been thriving recently with Nadia Moussa and Co., performing troupe numbers with Nadia at venues such as The Joyce Dance Theater of Soho, The CUNY Grad Center Elebash Recital Hall, and Lotus Music and Dance Theater. Along with the troupe she has also performed at outdoor, open-air festivals such as Drums Along The Hudson (A Native American Festival), The Arab-American Street Festival and The Dance Theater of Harlem's Open Air Concert. As a soloist, Undine has performed at prestigious restaurants such as Le Souk, The Lafayette Grill, L'Orange Bleu, The Cupping Room, Taj and Tavern on the Green, amongst others. Undine also performs regularly for special occasions, such as: birthday parties, weddings, engagement parties, bridal showers, theme parties, belly-grams, anniversary parties, corporate events, etc. Recently Undine has performed at the Saks Fifth Avenue "Welcome to the Oasis" promotion, The Tribeca Film Festival Wrap Party, A notable engagement party at Cipriani's and a children's education benefit at St. Francis Ignatius Loyola High School. Undine's skills include wings, candle tray, sword, veil and zills. Undine is available for private and group teaching and coaching as well.

Bashirah lives in Brooklyn and performs in the New York City area at restaurants, nightclubs, weddings, private parties and theatrical stage performances. She has been dancing for 6 years under the great master Elena Lentini and is also in her dance company. She fell in love with the music and dance when she went to visit her parents who had moved to the middle east in the 90's. Bashirah also plays middle eastern percussion, doumbek and riq, and her musicality shows in her dance, as if her body were also a musical instrument. Bashirah has made 2 television performances on the WB11 Morning News and The New Yorkers.

performs classic Egyptian-style belly dance, enriched with touches from Spanish, Turkish and Persian traditional dances. Her style is at once passionate and elegant, sensual and fun. She has performed in diverse locales including Warner Brothers Studios in Hollywood, the ruins of ancient cities in Turkey, the Kennedy Center stage in Washington D.C., the Asbury Shorts Film Festival in New York, and various upscale Middle Eastern restaurants and nightclubs. She also appears in the Iranian film "Cirque de Nuit." Though devoted to cabaret belly dance for the past eight years, her dance training also includes flamenco, tango, and ballet. Her most influential mentors include Yasmin, Artemis, Gamila El Masri, Yousry Sharif, and Laurel Victoria Gray. As a former member of the renowned Silk Road Dance Company, she also has experience performing Middle Eastern and Central Asian classical and folk dances. Currently working in New York, she has danced in popular venues such as the Ibis, Cleopatra, Lafayette Grill, Mezzo Mezzo, Casa la Femme and Tagine Dining Gallery. Anarkali is available for weddings, birthday parties, restaurant and club engagements, corporate events, and other festivities. A typical 15-30 minute show would include dancing with veils, finger cymbals, and a cane, using traditional Egyptian music and current Arabic pop music. Each show can be customized to suit the occasion. Anarkali's performance will bring beauty, culture, and excitement to your event!

Serafina has been a dancer her whole life. She was performing as young as the age of 5. Among belly dance she has also studied jazz, tap, ballet and latin. She started belly dancing about 5 years back. Some teachers she has studied with include: Amara AL Amir, Serena, Dalia Ciarela, Anahid Sofian, Yousery Sharif and Mahmoud Reda. She has performed in belly dance lounges all around NYC and important events at famous places. She has also appeared in an independent film called The River of Copsa Mica where she plays the role of The Fire Goddess. Serafina truly radiates passion through her dance and continues to grow and improve her talents.
